Set Menus

 PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING

- Set menus are only available for functions of 20 people or more. For exclusivity in our function room you need a minimum of 50 people and a minimum set menu of R130,00 per person

- Prices quoted telephonically or on any documentation excludes service fee (Minimum  10% or R300 per waiter, whichever is the highest)

- Menus do not include dessert, but ice - cream cakes are available upon request at an additional charge

- Set menus are by arrangement with management well in advance of your function. Please contact Sandro, Heinz, Craig or Danny for more information

- We charge for the number of people you book for including people that do not arrive, at the full set menu price. Guests that are not eating are also charged for

-          No platters, no sharing of meals, no separate bills and no tabs. No outside catering - We provide the food and beverages. The bill is to be settled in full on or before the date of the function. Please phone and ask for our function terms & conditions as seen below

 FUNCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 There are 2 set menus available. A selection must be made from these menus when you have reserved the function room exclusively for a private function

Vegetarian dishes can be provided

We are fully licensed

 

FOR EXCLUSIVE USE OF OUR MAIN FUNCTION ROOM

The following applies to functions:

  1. For exclusive use of the main function room on a Friday or Saturday, we require a minimum number of 50 people. There is no charge for the hire of the room, but the set menus will start from R130 per person.
  2. Kindly note that you should confirm the final number of guests 48 hours before your function and that we charge for the number of people confirmed. The minimum charge will be for 50 people regardless of the number of guests that arrive.
  3. The restaurant will operate as normal. Our a la carte patrons will make use of the main dining room, patio and garden.
  4. All prices quoted do not include the service fee (Minimum 10% for the waiters which is added to the total food and drinks bill).
  5. Any extras are added to your bill separately.
  6. To secure your reservation, we would like a R6000, 00 deposit. This must be paid in advance else we cannot guarantee your booking.
  7. The beverage bill and any other outstanding bills are to be settled on the day of the function. If companies require clearance in order to settle the bill, then this should be obtained before the function takes place so that the bill can be settled on the evening of your function.
  8. The cut off time for all lunch functions is 4:30PM. The function room will then be cleared and set up for evening trade. The cut off time for all evening functions is 2AM. The bar and restaurant will close at this time. The charge for customers staying after 2AM is R1000 per hour. Any outstanding bills are to be settled at 2AM. The hourly charge should be settled in advance every hour from 2AM onwards.
  9. This agreement is binding and supersedes all other agreements. No verbal agreements or otherwise will be considered.
  10. For functions of less than 50 people, we can accommodate you in our smaller function area (The Pergola).

Crumbed Button Mushrooms - Fresh grilled mushrooms served on a skewer

 Kidneys - In a creamy garlic, wine & tomato base &  served in a focaccia basket

 Minestrone - Thick vegetable soup

Linguine Al Fresco - Diced chicken breast, green peppers & onions in a creamy napoletana sauce

 Gnocchi Aurora - Potato dumplings in a creamy tomato sauce

Specialities - All served with vegetables & roast potatoes

 Veronese chicken fillet - Crumbed chicken breast with mushroom sauce or lemon butter

Pollo Ai Funghi - Chicken breast in a creamy white wine & onion sauce

 Chicken Parmiggiana - Chicken breast with a napoletana sauce & parmesan cheese. Baked in the pizza oven
